According to a recent survey, however, 69 per cent of people notice someone’s smile first, proof that maintaining good dental hygiene can also help you socially!

The survey, conducted by the oral health charity the British Dental Health Foundation, gathered that out of 1,000 participants 57 per cent said that missing teeth and poor dental health was the biggest turn off. About one in five people said that cracked, stained, and visibly deteriorating gums would keep them from going on a date with someone.
